Covering a Husker game alone is a guaranteed disaster.

Chalk up another loss

Nebraska football would make a good metaphor for something. They come into the season, ready to conquer and fight for what they believe in. Despite bad losses, every week is the same: we'll get them this time. Eventually tiny victories, like a first down, are hailed as signs of guarenteed success.

What it could represent, I don't know.

Football Disaster Vol. II (and not including the score)

The irony: Mizzou (a school which prides itself on the journalists that come from there) sets up visiting journalists for the worst possible experience, especially those carrying camera gear. Their media lot is open to the general public, the general public being 70,049 fans, 80,000 of which are intoxicated. Needless to say, they filled up the 50 spots for media pretty quick. The next closest parking was almost two miles away in the docking area of a long-abandoned Wal-Mart.

At least there are some images this week.

Football Disaster

With a combination of a broken card reader, PC problems and me being too stupid to pull over photos on my computer instead of the Daily Nebraskan's, there are no football photos this week.

In other news, here's Kosuke. (http://www.kocko.org/)

Next week: bring sunscreen

Ball State's Darius Hill literally dropped the ball in this shot. Nebraska figuratively dropped the ball during the entire game.
